On September 20th, 2024, Climate Futures Studio premiered the gallery exhibit of the

Climate Storytelling 2075

Vol. 1 Anthology

in collaboration with Ofrenda.

Hosted at the Queens Council on the Arts in Long Island City with a Climate Week kickoff, the show focuses on the relationship between humans and our environment, drawing from reflections on the Amazon and youth’ perspectives on climate futures, aiming to spark dialogue and raise awareness about endangered species and our future on our planet.

Featuring local and international artists in collaboration with Ofrenda Fest and Climate Storytelling 2075, this exhibition brings together creators who deeply explore the connection between humanity, nature, and our changing climate. Visitors will be immersed in a diverse array of artistic expressions—from thought-provoking installations to captivating paintings and sculptures—all centered around environmental themes.

The opening on Friday 20 September featured special live performances from Climate Storytelling 2075 artist Raissa Xie and Indigenous DJ artist Eric Terena from the Terena Peoples, Pantanal, Brazil.

The show was viewable from September - December 2024.
