Closing night for 2025-26 "Imagining Climate Futures" exhibition was an absolute blast!
Congratulations to the second cohort of Climate Storytelling 2075, twenty exceptional artists who imagined more just and sustainable climate futures.
Since this show opened in September, we have welcomed thousands of people to Queens Council on the Arts to discuss climate, culture, justice, futurism... and perhaps more importantly, to laugh, love, create, and connect!
Our closing party brought together friends, collaborators, and community to celebrate what’s been created and launch the third cohort of the program.
The incomparable Kevin Aviance gave us a DJ set to remember, while Geo Mantilla captured snapshots of the night (sharing a few of them here)!
Really grateful to everyone who showed up and held this space with us. More to come.
