Goals House UNGA welcomes Climate Futures Studio as featured art partner, NY Climate Week 2025
Climate Futures Studio was proud to exhibit Climate Storytelling 2075 works from Cohorts 1 & 2 at Goals House UNGA during NY Climate Week 2025. Exhibited over two evenings, the Studio curated “Imagining Radical Ocean Futures” displayed Monday, September 22nd, and “Imagining Radical Land Futures” displayed Wednesday, September 24th at Goals House’s NYC home of Tavern on the Green in Central Park.
“Imagining Radical Ocean Futures” featured Cohort 1 artists Kaila Akome (‘Renewsance’ regenerative tapestry) and Olivia Zhang (‘Over the Years’ data visualization, self-portrait and poetry) and Cohort 2’s Elizabeth Dawson (‘Litha’ cowrie snail drag costume).
“Imagining Radical Land Futures” featured Cohort 2 artists Anastasia Onyango (‘my grandma’s garden: beyond resilience’ basket sculptures) and Shirene Shomloo (‘Astonishing Light’ digital photography) and Cohort 1’s Laken Sylvander (‘Toposomatic Inheritance’ eco-fi felt coat).
